Exploring Truths and Expanding Perspectives with the Mormon Book Club
I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, living most of my life in Utah and graduating from Brigham Young University, I embraced the teachings and community of my faith. A missionary in western Europe, a temple marriage, and the joys of raising a family followed. Despite never considering myself overly spiritual, my Mormon upbringing was generally positive. However, I reached a point where certain aspects of church doctrines and practices became challenging to reconcile. This project, titled "Mormon Book Club" is my way of documenting the insights gained during my LDS faith crisis. It's not meant to be exhaustive or universally meaningful; it's a personal reflection. Having once asserted truths I now question, I aim to assist others in their quest for understanding. I approach this work humbly, not as an expert, but as one individual sharing personal revelations with the world on my LDSfaith journey.
